Leadership Consultant – 21st Century Leadership

Dr. Bernie Sparks, founder and president of 21st Century Leadership, is a leadership consultant with over 30 years of experience. Not only is he a corporate leadership trainer, he's a current practitioner in leading people in the 21st Century Workplace through his sister company, Sparks Employment Group, of which he is executive director. In that role, he uses strategic planning in dealing with real-life employment issues on a regular basis.

Dr. Sparks has supervisory, management and leadership experience through the U.S. Army 10th Special Forces Group (ABM) and the New Hampshire State Police.  He earned his masters in public administration from the University of New Hampshire, with a specialty in Public Human Resources Management, and his Doctor of Arts in Leadership from Franklin Pierce University. Dr. Sparks holds undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice from St. Anselm College and Accounting and Public Administration from Franklin Pierce.

Dr. Sparks is an adjunct faculty member at Franklin Pierce, Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), Granite State College and Hesser College. He has taught classes at the master's and undergraduate levels in topics including leadership, management communication skills, organizational behavior, ethics, legal issues, criminal investigations and security management. He is a member of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Army Special Forces Association and Pi Sigma Alpha, honor society for MPA graduates.
