21st Century Leadership LLC was formed to provide premier training and consulting services focused on today's workplace related issues. All of our workplace consultants and trainers are experts in their field.

Our New Hampshire workplace trainings include leadership training, communications training, and drug and violence prevention training. All trainings are interactive and designed to be both fun and informative to help maximize learning.

Dr. Bernie Sparks, Founder and President

Dr. Bernie Sparks, founder and executive director of Sparks Employment Group, has more than three decades of supervisory, management, and leadership experience in the U.S. Army 10th Special Forces Group (ABN), the New Hampshire State Police, and the University of New Hampshire Police Department. 

Bernie holds a Doctorate of Arts in Leadership Degree from Franklin Pierce University. His dissertation, Corporate Governance: A Study of the Perceptions and Attitudes of Members of Corporate Boards of Directors in New Hampshire was an in-depth investigation of the leadership and ethics of corporate board members in New Hampshire.

Bernie was selected as a member of the first cohort in the new Doctorate of Arts in Leadership at Franklin Pierce University, His studies focused on creative leadership, progressive human resource techniques, ethics and organizational planning in the 21st century.

He received his master's degree in Public Administration with a specialty in Public Human Resource Management from the University of New Hampshire in 2003. He holds undergraduate degrees in criminal justice and accounting from St. Anselm's College and Franklin Pierce University. Bernie was selected as a member of the first cohort in the new Doctorate of Arts in Transformational Leadership at Franklin Pierce University. His studies focus on creative leadership, progressive human resources techniques, ethics and organizational planning in the 21st century.

Bernie is an adjunct faculty member of Southern New Hampshire University teaching in the Forensic Accounting program. He is an adjunct professor at Franklin Pierce University, teaching various courses in the MBA in Leadership program along with undergraduate courses. He also is adjunct faculty at Granite State College and Hesser College where he teaches classes ranging from oral communications to criminal investigations to security management.

Bernie is a member of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Laconia-Weirs Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society for MPA graduates. He is also a member of the US Army Special Forces Association.
